Well, It’s cold… And the Minnesota Wild are reminding us that at lease two teams in MN don’t suck… The wild repositioned themselves in the free agent market this year, and have made some good moves. Mikko Koivu is leading the team presently with 15 points and Andrew Brunette has been solid also. Gaborik remains overrated… and the Wild are third place in the conference… It’d be nice to see a playoff run from at least one MN team this year, and the Wild might just give us that. Here’s some afterbirth for thought… The point awarded for an overtime loss in hockey remains the dumbest rule in all of sports… followed closely by a tie in football.

Are really average. The offense was it’s typical one man show. Frerrote proving he’s not starting material in this league. Showing absolutely no ability to move around in the pocket… And the lack of armstrength and accuracy for the big play downfield. Peterson get’s 19 carries for 85 yards, but was not on the field for the amount of time necessary to make a big impact. Jeff Garcia slimed his way wherever he wanted to agains the Vike’s defense… and although a decent amount of pressure was applied, once he starting scrambling it was all over for a defense who seemed to not understand the concept of a QB spy. Well luckily The Bears did not show up at all against the Packers, and the Vikes are still on top of the division. Baroo!

I’m actually beginning to be impressed with the way the Twolves manage to lose games… It’s seems pretty much every game I’ve watched this year they’re winning midway through the fourth, and just crap the game away. Tonight was no exception. They get one of the better performances from their best player (Al Jeffereson) Who’s like butter in the low post. Jefferson puts up 26 on 12-16 shooting, but they again struggle to get him the ball late in the game. Rashad Mccants seemingly likes to lose with his inexplicable shot selection late in games. Kevin Love looked astonishingly average… Anyhow, the rest of the team performed up to about par for what you’d expect… which isn’t much. My final thoughts on the night are this… Randy Wittman probably will not make it through the season as head coach… Kevin Mcchale will somehow hang onto his job… And the Twolves are going to windup high in the lottery again…
